Dhamaal 4 Box Office: Comedy Franchise Passes ₹230 Crore
Dhamaal 4 grossed roughly ₹230 to ₹236 crore worldwide per Sacnilk and Koimoi. Opening, ranking and verdict labels compared across trackers.

Dhamaal 4, the fourth film in the comedy franchise led by Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh and Arshad Warsi, released on July 10, 2026 and has closed with a worldwide gross of roughly ₹230 crore to ₹236 crore, depending on the tracker. The figures here are trade estimates, and the sources differ on both numbers and labels.
The numbers
Koimoi's closing report lists a worldwide gross of ₹236.43 crore: ₹209.93 crore gross in India, which is ₹177.92 crore net, and ₹26.5 crore overseas. Koimoi calls it Ajay Devgn's sixth-highest grosser and labels the verdict Plus. Sacnilk's tracker gives a lower worldwide figure of about ₹230.21 crore and an India net of about ₹167.8 crore.
Pinkvilla, writing on the India figure, reported about ₹160 crore and called the film a Hit. KS Box Office's table lists an India net of ₹165.6 crore and also labels the film a Hit. That is a spread of about ₹18 crore on India net between the lowest and highest figures, which is wide for a film that has finished its run.
The opening
Koimoi records an opening-day India net of ₹15.5 crore and an opening weekend of ₹67.21 crore. The weekend represents about 38 per cent of Koimoi's final India net of ₹177.92 crore, so the film kept earning well beyond its first three days.
The franchise and the cast
Dhamaal 4 is directed by Indra Kumar. According to Wikipedia's list of 2026 Hindi films, it stars Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, Sanjay Mishra and Jaaved Jaaferi. Koimoi's phrase for the film is "Ajay Devgn's sixth-highest grosser". The cover photograph for this story shows Riteish Deshmukh, one of the film's leads.
Ajay Devgn is also the star of Drishyam 3, the Hindi film that opened in October and appears in Koimoi's list of 2026's top grossers by India net. His two 2026 films therefore sit at third and seventh on that list, at ₹341.6 crore and ₹177.92 crore.
Where it sits in the 2026 table
On Koimoi's list of top Hindi grossers by India net, Dhamaal 4 ranks seventh. Above it are Dhurandhar The Revenge at ₹1186.32 crore, Border 2 at ₹362.76 crore, Drishyam 3 at ₹341.6 crore, Hanuman Ansh at ₹339.71 crore, Mirzapur: The Movie at ₹233.66 crore and Bhooth Bangla at ₹199.23 crore. Below it are Awarapan 2 at ₹156.12 crore, Toxic's Hindi version at ₹143.92 crore and Welcome to the Jungle at ₹137.93 crore.
Dhamaal 4 therefore outperformed Welcome to the Jungle, the other big ensemble comedy of the summer, by about ₹40 crore India net on Koimoi's count. Welcome to the Jungle opened a few weeks earlier, on June 26.
Why the labels differ
Koimoi says Plus, Pinkvilla and KS Box Office say Hit. These words describe different thresholds. As no tracker publishes an audited budget for the film, the safest reading is that all three agree the film made money, and disagree about how much.
The bottom line
Dhamaal 4 earned about ₹168 crore to ₹178 crore net in India and ₹230 crore to ₹236 crore worldwide. It is among the top ten Hindi grossers of 2026, it opened with ₹67.21 crore over its first weekend on Koimoi's count, and every tracker consulted treats it as a commercial success. For a fourth instalment in a comedy franchise, those are strong numbers, and they show that an ensemble comedy can still draw large audiences in a year dominated by action and franchise films.
