Dhurandhar: The Revenge Closes Near ₹1,850 Crore
Dhurandhar The Revenge crossed ₹1850 crore worldwide per trade trackers, led by Ranveer Singh. Figures from Sacnilk, Koimoi and others, with caveats.

Ranveer Singh's Dhurandhar: The Revenge has finished its theatrical run as the biggest Hindi film of 2026 by a very wide margin. Depending on which trade tracker you read, the worldwide gross lands between roughly ₹1,813 crore and ₹1,851 crore. Every one of those figures is a trade estimate, and the trackers do not agree to the last rupee, so this report keeps the sources separate.
The headline numbers
Koimoi's closing report puts the worldwide gross at about ₹1,850.85 crore, made up of ₹1,399.85 crore in India and ₹451 crore overseas. Sacnilk lists a lower worldwide total of ₹1,813.39 crore, with an India gross of ₹1,375.39 crore and an India net of ₹1,149.30 crore. Koimoi's own India net figure, published on its top-grossers page on October 18, is ₹1,186.32 crore. The gap between trackers comes from different reporting cut-offs, different overseas data and different ways of counting late-run business.
Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film arrived in cinemas on March 19, 2026, a festival date that coincided with Gudi Padwa, Ugadi and Eid. It is the second and final part of a duology that began with the 2025 film Dhurandhar. The cast includes Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, R. Madhavan and Sara Arjun. At 229 minutes, it is one of the longest Indian films ever released.
A record opening
Koimoi's list of 2026 opening weekends has Dhurandhar: The Revenge at the top with ₹466 crore over four days, far ahead of Drishyam 3 in second place at ₹174.5 crore. Sacnic, a tracker that mirrors Sacnilk data, lists a day-one figure of ₹102.55 crore as the biggest of the year, and the film crossed ₹1,000 crore worldwide inside its first week according to the film's reference entry on Wikipedia.
KS Box Office's early-run table, published while the film was still in cinemas, shows how front-loaded the business was. It listed a first-week India net of ₹604.16 crore against a total of ₹1,037.70 crore at the time of writing.
Where it ranks
Koimoi and Wikipedia both place the film as the highest-grossing Hindi film in India, and as the second-highest-grossing Indian film worldwide behind Dangal. Bollywood Hungama's trade coverage made a point that matters for context: the film reached its total without a release in China or in the Gulf Cooperation Council markets, where, like its predecessor, it was not released. Wikipedia describes it as banned across the GCC countries.
For the Hindi industry the film also reset the year's picture. Sacnilk's first-half review described 2026 as top-heavy but healthy, with Dhurandhar 2 leading by a huge margin, followed by Border 2. Koimoi's current top ten for the year shows the same shape: Dhurandhar 2 first at ₹1,186.32 crore, Border 2 second at ₹362.76 crore, and Drishyam 3 third at ₹341.6 crore.
The reception caveat
Commercial success and critical agreement are different things. The film's reference entry notes mixed reviews, with praise for performances, storytelling, music and technical craft, and criticism of its levels of violence and of what some reviewers called nationalist propaganda. It is also listed as the highest-grossing A-rated Indian film of all time.
How to read these numbers
Three cautions apply to any box office story. First, India net, India gross and worldwide gross are three different measures. Net removes taxes, while gross includes them, and worldwide gross adds overseas business converted into rupees. Second, producers' announced figures often differ from tracker estimates. Third, trackers revise numbers after a run ends.
For readers who want one number, the safest statement is that the film grossed more than ₹1,800 crore worldwide by every major tracker that has published a closing figure, and that its India net sits above ₹1,100 crore on both Sacnilk and Koimoi.
