Yeh Prem Mol Liya, directed by Sooraj Barjatya, is due on November 27, 2026. It stars Ayushmann Khurrana and Sharvari, and it brings the Rajshri banner back to the family drama form it made famous. No trailer has been released yet, so this report covers the confirmed facts.
The film and the cast
According to Wikipedia, Ayushmann Khurrana plays a character named Prem, a name long tied to the Barjatya films that starred Salman Khan, from Maine Pyar Kiya to Hum Aapke Hain Koun and Prem Ki Diwani. Sharvari plays the female lead. The supporting cast includes Anupam Kher, Supriya Pathak, Seema Pahwa, Saumya Tandon, Shaad Randhawa and Swanand Kirkire.
The film is produced by Rajshri Productions together with Mahaveer Jain Films. YRF holds the overseas rights, according to reports on the release plan.
The music
Himesh Reshammiya composes the songs. Three have been released so far: the title track on September 21, "Jai Ambe Bol" on September 29, and "Jhumka Patola" on October 15. A Barjatya release has traditionally leaned on its music, and the staggered release of three songs in about four weeks suggests the makers are building the campaign through songs first.
The shoot
Shooting began on November 1, 2025 and, according to the reports we found, was complete by September 2026. A finished shoot two months before release leaves time for post-production, but no trailer date has been announced.
The release window
November 27 falls three weeks after Ramayana: Part 1 on November 5 and four weeks before King on December 24. The film therefore opens between two very large releases. Eetha, Shraddha Kapoor's film, is scheduled for December 4, one week later, so the first weekend will be compared against both.
Ayushmann Khurrana's recent record
Ayushmann's most recent release was Pati Patni Aur Woh Do, which opened on May 15, 2026. Koimoi lists its worldwide gross at ₹77.81 crore and its India net at ₹59.29 crore, with a Plus verdict. That is the closest recent comparison for a family-oriented comedy-drama from him. Another film, Udta Teer with Sara Ali Khan, is currently scheduled for October 23.
The Rajshri banner has a long history with family audiences, and Sooraj Barjatya has directed some of its best-known titles. Still, we did not find a published box office estimate for Yeh Prem Mol Liya, and no reliable pre-release figures should be quoted.
What is not yet confirmed
