Hindustan Times estimated that the film needed roughly ₹120 crore to ₹125 crore to break even.

Opinions on what the result means differ. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh told Bollywood Hungama that the film was "a beautiful body without a soul". Bolly Bourse called ₹59 crore net a modest result rather than a crisis for the Spy Universe. Both are opinions, and neither changes the figures.

Love & War

Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Love & War stars Alia Bhatt with Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal. [IndiaToday.in](http://IndiaToday.in) and the Indian Express reported that it wrapped and is scheduled for January 21, 2027. No official plot has been released.
