Welcome to the Jungle: Trackers Split on the Verdict
Welcome to the Jungle grossed about ₹193 to ₹196 crore worldwide, yet Koimoi says Plus and Sacnic says disaster. Why trackers split.

Welcome to the Jungle, the long-delayed comedy that opened on June 26, 2026, is a useful case study in how differently trackers can read the same film. Koimoi calls it a Plus result. Sacnic's 2026 rankings label it a disaster. The gross numbers are close; the verdicts are not. All figures here are trade estimates.
The numbers
Koimoi's closing report gives a worldwide gross of ₹196.11 crore: ₹162.75 crore gross in India (₹137.93 crore net) and ₹33.36 crore overseas. Against a reported budget of ₹125 crore, Koimoi estimates a return of about 10.34 per cent. It also calls the film Akshay Kumar's fifth-highest post-pandemic grosser, and notes it ranked fifth among Bollywood's worldwide grossers of 2026 when its run ended.
Sacnilk's tracker lists an India net of ₹134.11 crore and a worldwide gross of ₹192.91 crore, about ₹3 crore below Koimoi. Sacnic marks the film as a disaster, while Koimoi's verdict table says Plus. KS Box Office's table labelled it Semi Hit.
Why verdicts diverge
Verdict labels depend on a film's cost, and cost is almost never audited. Koimoi uses a reported ₹125 crore budget and counts a ten per cent return as a profit. A tracker that assumes a higher cost can reach the opposite conclusion from nearly the same collection. Gross figures are comparable across sources; verdicts are opinions built on private numbers.
The opening and the cast
Koimoi lists a day-one India net of ₹19.4 crore and an opening weekend of ₹65.83 crore.
Directed by Ahmed Khan, Welcome to the Jungle features Akshay Kumar alongside Suniel Shetty, Jackie Shroff, Raveena Tandon, Disha Patani, Jacqueline Fernandez, Arshad Warsi, Paresh Rawal and Rajpal Yadav, according to the Wikipedia list of 2026 Hindi films. News18 reported that director Ahmed Khan said Anil Kapoor and Nana Patekar were not approached because the film is a different script from the earlier Welcome films.
Akshay Kumar's 2026
The film was one of three Akshay Kumar releases this year. Bhooth Bangla opened on April 17 and finished near ₹270 crore to ₹293 crore worldwide depending on the tracker. Welcome to the Jungle followed on June 26, and Haiwaan, his remake with Saif Ali Khan, arrived on September 11. Koimoi's table shows Haiwaan at ₹15.05 crore worldwide with a Flop verdict.
By Koimoi's count, Welcome to the Jungle was the second of Akshay's two box-office successes in 2026, which makes its Plus label consistent with its own scale.
How the run compares
The film's India net of ₹137.93 crore on Koimoi puts it tenth on the October 18 list of top Hindi grossers of 2026, just behind Toxic's Hindi version at ₹143.92 crore. It earned less than Dhamaal 4, which closed at ₹177.92 crore India net, and less than Awarapan 2 at ₹156.12 crore, but its reported budget was higher than Awarapan 2's ₹45 crore, so the profit picture looks very different.
What we can say with confidence
Three things are safe to state. The film earned about ₹193 crore to ₹196 crore worldwide on the two main trackers. Its India net sits between ₹134 crore and ₹138 crore. And its commercial verdict depends on whose budget estimate one accepts. Anyone using a single label for the film is making a choice, not reporting a fact.
A note on reading the figures
Even the India net figure moves by a few crore between sources, from ₹134.11 crore on Sacnilk to ₹137.93 crore on Koimoi. Treat any single number as an estimate. Producers rarely confirm collections, so trackers build their totals from ticketing data, distributor sources and their own models.
